NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM.

Repeat Prescriptions.

Please order all repeat prescriptions by the 30th July, you will be issued with two lots of prescriptions during this time whilst we are in the transition period to a new computer system. The link to prescriptions will be down after 30th July until the beginning of September.

APPOINTMENTS

You will not be able to book internet appointments after 7th August, this facility again will re-open in September.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.

Your unique identification number/password will change with the new system. Please ask at reception for a new password. THIS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL SEPTEMBER.

Appointments

Our aim is to offer same day appointments with the doctor of your choice.  Please telephone the surgery on 01455 271442 on the day you need an appointment.  Each doctor on duty will have a number of available slots.  If your preferred doctor is fully booked, you will be offered an appointment with an alternative doctor for that day.  Please ring before 11am.

There are some appointments that you can pre-book (early morning, late evening) we aks that these are reserved for those who are working.

10 minutes are allocated for each routine appointment.  Please be punctual and contact us if you cannot attend, to enable your appointment to be offered to someone else.  Please remember "one appointment, one problem".  You can ask for longer appointments if you have more than one complaint.

Minor Illness/Minor Injury Appointments

Lesley Thorne, Practice Nurse, will be available on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday morning to see any of the following ailments:-

Earache, Sinusitis, Conjuctivitus or sore eyes, sore throat, urinary tract infection/cystisis, vaginal discharge, diarrhoea and vomiting, cough, colds & flu, back pain - non traumatic, emergency contraception, insect bites & stings, foreign bodies, lacerations, burns & scalds, sprains, epistaxis (nose bleeds), sunburn
