Appointments

Due to the rise in our practice population, we realise that the demand for appointments is high, and that patients are having difficulty in making appointments.

We are currently looking at ways to help this.  We will advise you by means of posters in the practice, on the website and leaflets to let you all know how this will work.

Zero Tolerance

We aim to treat our patients courteously at all times and expect our patients to treat our staff with due respect. We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients.

If a patient is violent or abusive they will be warned to stop such behaviour. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action to have them removed, immediately if necessary, from our list of patients

Welcome

The Old School Surgery would like to wish a very warm welcome to Dr Ruchira Bhalla who joined us in October. Dr Bhalla will be working with us on Mondays, Wednesdays (AM) and Thursdays.

PATIENT REFERENCE GROUP

commentsThe practice is setting up a Patients Reference Group to give us feedback on the range and quality of our services and tell us where we can improve.

Our aim is to reach a wide range of patients so we get views from across our population. To make it as easy as possible for you and us, it will be a virtual group. This means most of the communication will be through email and completing online surveys.

WHAT WILL BE INVOLVED?

The main role of the group is to give us feedback through a survey. Patients will be asked a series of simple questions about how we are doing.

We want to post the right questions, so the group will be asked to tell us what questions we should be asking. We will then publish the survey results along with our proposal to improve the areas it highlights as in need of change. You will have the chance to let us know if you agree with our plans. At the end of the year we will publish the results of our achievements.

WHAT WILL I HAVE TO DO?

If you are interested in helping us to improve, simply download our information sheet, complete the attached form and return it to us.

Thank you in advance for your help.
