The out of hours service is open from 6.30pm until 8.00am Monday to Friday, and all day Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
How do I contact the service?
Dial The Old School Surgery telephone number (01455 271 442) where you will be diverted to the service, or call 0845 045 0411.
When should I call this service?
You should use the out of hours service if you need URGENT medical care that cannot wait until The Old School Surgery opens.
If you require emergency treatment for a potentially life-threatening condition you should dial 999 and ask for the ambulance service. The following conditions are considered potentially life-threatening:-
- Loss of consciousness
- Severe chest pain
- Severe breathing difficulty
- Heavy bleeding
- Fitting/convulsions
- Any symptoms of a stroke
For any other condition which you feel cannot wait until The Old School Surgery opens, you should contact the out of hours service.
